libmemcached10 software package provides C and C++ client library to the memcached server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmemcached10
libmemcached10 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmemcached10 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmemcached10 *
You will get with libmemcached10 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
